Today I had my first experience shooting on a real camera. On Saturday I’m leaving for Ghana in West Africa to participate in and document some new fresh-water wells being dug. I figured I should bring a decent camera. My dear friend, Adam loaned me his. My dear friend, Stephen took me on a photography lesson today.
Within two minutes of walking down the street, we came upon these boys in capes riding bikes. We stopped to meet them and talked with Pete, a violinmaker; their father. We talked for about an hour.
Then we walked, talked, and kept shooting.
So… here’s my first day with a real camera.
